What You'll Do
- Teach fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive techniques
- Design and lead age-appropriate training sessions and practices
- Develop player confidence and foster a competitive, inclusive team culture
- Coach games and provide strategic guidance during competition
- Mentor young athletes on discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth
- Communicate progress and feedback to players and families
What We're Looking For
- Proven coaching experience working with youth basketball players
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and training methods
- Ability to inspire and motivate players of varying skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to player safety and well-being
- Flexible availability for practices and games during the season
- First aid or CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
