Forest Lake Schools is seeking a passionate, motivating leader to serve as the Head Girls Track and Field Coach for the Rangers at Forest Lake Senior High School in Forest Lake, Washington County. About the Role
As the Head Girls Track and Field Coach, you will direct all aspects of the girls track and field program at Forest Lake Senior High School. You'll build a culture of discipline, sportsmanship, and athletic growth while helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on the track and in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the girls track and field program.
- Plan and conduct practices, meets, and conditioning sessions across all event disciplines.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise assistant coaches and support staff.
- Foster the academic, personal, and athletic development of every student-athlete.
- Promote safety, sportsmanship, and the values of the Rangers community.
- Coordinate schedules, equipment, and logistics in partnership with the athletics department.
Qualifications
- Coaching experience in track and field or a closely related athletic background.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- A genuine commitment to the academic and personal success of student-athletes.
- Willingness to meet all coaching certification and licensure requirements set by the district and state.
