About the Role

This travel PT assignment places you within a facility in the Lake Swannanoa area of Passaic County, New Jersey, where you'll deliver hands-on rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population. As a travel clinician, you'll bring your expertise to a new environment while earning a competitive weekly rate and advancing your career through varied clinical exposure.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient functional status, strength, range of motion, and mobility limitations
• Design and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aligned with each patient's goals and medical history
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff — to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain caseload productivity targets while upholding the highest standards of patient care

What We're Looking For

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least one year of clinical PT experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, care teams, and patient populations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility and independence expected of travel healthcare professionals

Compensation

This Travel Physical Therapist position offers weekly pay of up to $2,794. This is a full-time placement.
