About the Role

This is a 13-week local contract position at a skilled nursing facility in Whigham, GA. You'll work full-time hours — 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts — delivering direct physical therapy support under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. What You'll Do

• Carry out individualized physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist SNF residents with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising PT
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support each resident's rehabilitation goals
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Georgia
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong understanding of restorative and rehabilitative therapy principles
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care
