Freymiller is hiring a full-time CDL-A Company Truck Driver for OTR routes out of San Bruno, San Mateo County — joining a family-owned carrier with more than 55 years of proven stability in the trucking industry.
About the Role
This is an over-the-road opportunity for experienced CDL-A drivers who want consistent miles, competitive starting pay, and quality home time — backed by a company that has weathered every market cycle and kept its drivers moving. Freymiller runs a tight, driver-focused operation built on longevity, not short-term promises.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on OTR routes across the continental US
- Maintain accurate, compliant electronic logs (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly
- Load, secure, and deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and any on-road incidents
- Uphold all DOT safety standards and company operating procedures at every point in the haul
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL issued in the United States
- Current DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain one)
- Verifiable OTR or long-haul driving experience preferred
- Clean motor vehicle record with no serious or major violations
- Solid working knowledge of ELD systems and federal Hours of Service rules
- Ability to pre-trip inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before they become road problems
- Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to on-time, damage-free delivery
