MSD is seeking an accomplished leader to serve as Executive Director - Global Scientific Marketing Affairs, Companion Animal, based in Rahway, Union County. In this full-time, on-site role, you will shape and steer the scientific marketing direction for MSD's worldwide Companion Animal portfolio.

About the Role

As Executive Director - Global Scientific Marketing Affairs, Companion Animal, you will sit at the center of MSD's Companion Animal (CA) business unit, guiding the development and rollout of marketing strategy across global markets. The position blends scientific depth with commercial vision, ensuring that product launches succeed and that established offerings continue to deliver strong value for customers and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead global scientific marketing strategy for the Companion Animal portfolio across international markets.
• Champion the successful introduction of priority CA product launches from planning through execution.
• Strengthen and extend the commercial value of in-line, established products.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align scientific affairs with broader business and marketing objectives.
• Translate the Animal Health division's robust pipeline of innovations into clear, customer-focused market positioning.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in scientific marketing, medical affairs, or commercial strategy within animal health, pharmaceuticals, or a related life-sciences field.
• Proven success guiding global product launches and managing portfolios across multiple markets.
• Strong scientific acumen paired with the ability to shape commercially impactful marketing strategies.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder-management skills across functions and geographies.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rahway, Union County in this full-time capacity.
