About the Role
The Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist position is a full-time role that combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. You'll manage a variety of maintenance tasks—from routine inspections and preventive care to complex repairs and equipment troubleshooting—ensuring that airport facilities remain safe, operational, and well-maintained.
What You'll Do
- Perform skilled, semi-skilled, and routine maintenance work on airport facilities and equipment
- Lead preventive maintenance programs and oversee regular facility inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and facility operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Mentor and coordinate work with junior maintenance staff
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and equipment records
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in aviation or transportation infrastructure
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills across building systems
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical repair
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring maintenance teams
