Field Calibration Technician / Field Service Technician

VBB is hiring a full-time Field Calibration Technician / Field Service Technician based out of Glen Ridge, Palm Beach County, serving clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and life sciences industries. This is a field-based position with regular travel throughout Southern Florida.

About the Role

As a Field Calibration Technician / Field Service Technician with VBB, you will travel to client sites across the Greater West Palm Beach area and the wider Southern Florida region to calibrate, service, and validate instruments and equipment used in highly regulated life sciences environments. The role combines hands-on technical work with strong customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems on-site rather than behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site calibration and field service on equipment for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and life sciences customers.
• Travel throughout Southern Florida to service client locations, planning routes efficiently across assigned territories.
• Diagnose, repair, and verify the accuracy of measurement and laboratory instrumentation.
• Document calibration results and service activities to meet industry compliance and quality standards.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients while representing VBB on every visit.

Qualifications

• Technical background or hands-on experience in calibration, field service, instrumentation, or a related discipline.
• Comfort working independently in the field and managing daily travel across Southern Florida.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, well-documented work.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.
• Eligibility to work full-time on a Monday-through-Friday schedule.

Compensation

• Salary range of $65,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
• Overtime pay.
• Mileage reimbursement for field travel.
