Cologne Academy is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher at STARS Early Learning Academy in the United States, where you'll help young children grow, learn, and thrive in a nurturing classroom setting.
About the Role
As an Assistant Teacher with STARS Early Learning Academy, you will partner closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for early learners. This on-site, full-time early childhood position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children during their most formative years and who wants to grow professionally within a collaborative education team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in planning and carrying out daily classroom activities and routines.
- Help maintain a secure, clean, and stimulating space where children feel comfortable and engaged.
- Guide and supervise children throughout learning, play, mealtimes, and transitions.
- Encourage each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate interaction.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful classroom culture in partnership with teaching staff and families.
- Continue building your own skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in working with and nurturing young children in an early learning setting.
- Willingness to take direction from and collaborate with the Lead Teacher in a support capacity.
- Reliability, patience, and strong attention to children's safety and well-being.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in the United States.
- A commitment to ongoing professional growth in early childhood education.
