River City Produce is hiring a hands-on Building Maintenance technician to keep our San Antonio, Bexar County facility running smoothly, safely, and at peak efficiency every day.
About the Role
As the Building Maintenance team member at River City Produce, you will own the upkeep of our cold storage warehouse and surrounding facility in San Antonio, Bexar County. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a dependable generalist who is comfortable juggling HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and light carpentry tasks across the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment, swapping filters on schedule and troubleshooting units that aren't performing correctly.
- Service the refrigeration systems throughout our cold storage warehouse, keeping filters clean, replacing them when needed, and verifying that temperatures stay within the proper range.
- Handle minor plumbing repairs in restrooms and other facility break areas.
- Complete light carpentry and general building fixes as they come up.
- Monitor facility systems routinely and address small issues before they grow into larger problems.
Qualifications
- Practical experience maintaining or servicing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing and carpentry tasks.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to preventative maintenance.
- Reliability and the ability to manage a varied workload across the facility.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in San Antonio, Bexar County.
