The People Concern is hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to support its Wellness Center in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County — a role for a detail-driven professional who wants their compliance work to strengthen vital community services.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at the Wellness Center, you will sit within the Compliance department and report to the Manager of Quality Assurance. This is an onsite-based position (not fully remote) located at 345 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013, working a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm. You'll help safeguard the standards and integrity of programs that serve some of the city's most vulnerable residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Assurance and Compliance program by reviewing documentation and program records for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor adherence to organizational, regulatory, and funder requirements across Wellness Center services.
- Identify gaps or discrepancies and partner with staff to drive corrective improvements.
- Prepare reports and maintain records that inform compliance and quality decisions.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to uphold service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organized approach to documentation review.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, compliance, or auditing practices, ideally in a health, social services, or wellness setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and working alongside program staff.
- Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles during regular weekday business hours.
- Commitment to confidentiality and the mission of supporting underserved communities.
