Vice President, Real Estate and Facilities

MemorialCare is seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President, Real Estate and Facilities to lead its property portfolio and facilities operations from Fountain Valley in Orange County. This full-time, on-site leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the physical footprint of one of Southern California's premier nonprofit health systems.

About the Role

Reporting within the Business Development function, the Vice President, Real Estate and Facilities oversees the planning, acquisition, management, and maintenance of MemorialCare's diverse real estate holdings across Orange and Los Angeles Counties. This is a day-shift position based in Fountain Valley, CA, ideal for an executive who blends financial acumen with operational excellence to support the growth of more than 200 sites of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct enterprise-wide real estate strategy, including site selection, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Lead facilities management to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare environments across all locations.
• Partner with business development leaders to align property decisions with organizational expansion and patient-access goals.
• Manage capital projects, budgets, vendor relationships, and long-range space planning.
• Oversee maintenance, construction, and regulatory compliance for hospitals and ambulatory facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven executive experience in real estate, facilities, or corporate property management, ideally within healthcare or a complex multi-site organization.
• Strong background in lease negotiation, capital planning, and portfolio strategy.
• Demonstrated leadership directing facilities teams and large-scale projects.
• Excellent financial, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Fountain Valley and travel between care locations as needed.
