About the Role
As a Travel CVOR Registered Nurse with Care Career in York, Pennsylvania, you will join the cardiovascular operating room team on a 13-week travel contract beginning as soon as possible. This full-time position is built around 36 hours each week, structured as 12-hour day shifts. You will deliver skilled perioperative care during open-heart and vascular procedures, working alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to keep each case running safely and smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out direct and indirect nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment ahead of each CVOR case.
- Monitor patient status throughout surgery and respond promptly to changing clinical needs.
- Evaluate care outcomes and adjust the nursing plan to support recovery and safety.
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to maintain sterile technique and procedural standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure eligible for practice in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with an ASAP start date.
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
