PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking an experienced Manager to join our Operations Consulting practice in the United States, leading Value Capture engagements focused on Procurement Strategy and Strategic Sourcing for clients nationwide.

About the Role

As a Manager in Operations Consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, you will guide organizations in unlocking measurable value across their procurement and sourcing functions. This full-time, United States (nationwide)-based position centers on helping clients refine how they buy, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships so they can operate with greater efficiency and effectiveness. You will translate client needs into actionable operational strategies and partner with stakeholders to put those strategies into practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy and strategic sourcing initiatives that capture tangible value for clients.
• Assess current operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and design solutions that streamline processes.
• Develop sourcing approaches, category strategies, and supplier management frameworks tailored to each client.
• Advise clients on improving operational efficiency, reducing cost, and strengthening procurement performance.
• Manage project teams, oversee delivery quality, and act as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants while supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations consulting, procurement, or strategic sourcing, ideally at the manager level.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate client needs and shape operational strategies grounded in data.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engagements, manage teams, and deliver results in a client-facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills for advising senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations clearly.
