Join Google as a Workspace Sales Specialist II, Enterprise Greenfield in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood. In this full-time role, you'll lead greenfield enterprise sales efforts for Google Workspace, building new customer relationships and driving adoption of our productivity solutions among large organizations throughout the region and beyond.
About the Role
As a mid-career sales specialist, you'll combine individual contributor excellence with emerging leadership skills. You'll own complex enterprise sales cycles, mentor junior team members, and deepen your expertise in cloud-based productivity solutions and enterprise customer needs. This position emphasizes both closing deals and building a stronger sales organization around you.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, qualify, and manage full-cycle enterprise sales opportunities for Google Workspace in greenfield accounts with minimal existing Google Cloud footprint
- Develop deep customer relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers, understanding their organizational needs and demonstrating Workspace value propositions
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and customer success teams to shape compelling proposals and ensure smooth customer onboarding
- Coach and mentor less experienced sales team members, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth
- Build and execute territory strategies that balance revenue targets with sustainable, relationship-driven sales practices
- Stay current on Google Workspace features, competitive landscape, and enterprise market trends
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record closing enterprise software deals, particularly SaaS or cloud solutions
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead peers while maintaining individual sales performance
- Deep knowledge of enterprise buyer personas, procurement processes, and organizational decision-making
- Strong communication and negotiation skills across all stakeholder levels
- Self-directed problem solver with the ability to navigate complex, multi-quarter sales cycles
- Experience or familiarity with productivity tools, collaboration software, or related enterprise categories
