The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Werkstudent im Bereich Konzernrechnungswesen und Konsolidierung. As part of the Consolidation and Controlling expert, you will be involved in the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements using LucaNet. You will work on the consolidation process according to IFRS standards, including classic consolidation measures such as capital, debt, expense, and income consolidation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining consolidation circles, ownership structures, and master data for individual company reporting packages. You will also ensure completeness and plausibility of reports and gradually take over the independent management of selected companies, including coordination with local finance teams. Additionally, you will support the introduction and implementation of IFRS-relevant standards in the group, contribute to projects aimed at optimizing, standardizing, and further developing the consolidation processes, and help develop LucaNet structures and reports. You will also create evaluations, reports, and ad-hoc analyses for both internal and external purposes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

We are looking for a student currently studying Business Administration (BWL), Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. You should have basic knowledge in external accounting and an interest in consolidation topics such as group financial statements. A fundamental understanding of IFRS is required; Dutch GAAP knowledge is nice to have but not mandatory. You are passionate about accounting and valuation questions and the transition from Local GAAP to IFRS. Proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XVERWEIS/SVERWEIS, basic formulas) is a must.
