What This Role Involves

The Vice President of Human Resources at Acumen is responsible for overseeing the human resources functions across multiple states. The role requires a strong leader who can manage and develop a diverse workforce while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business growth and employee development
• Ensure the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent in multiple states
• Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts through effective communication and mediation
• Oversee benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance with labor laws
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to managers and employees
• Develop and maintain a positive work environment that aligns with the company's values

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR leader in a multi-state organization, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong Spanish language skills for bilingual communication and cultural sensitivity
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels
• Knowledge of labor laws, benefits administration, and employee relations best practices
• Experience with HRIS systems and other relevant software tools
• A proven track record of driving organizational change and improving HR processes
