About the Role
As Vice President of Commercial Underwriting for Commercial Real Estate at our CityScape location, you will oversee the evaluation and approval of complex lending transactions across a diverse portfolio. Your expertise will shape credit decisions for mid-sized businesses and real estate partnerships seeking flexible and tailored financing solutions.
What You'll Do
- Assess and approve complex loan requests and refinancings across multiple lending products
- Evaluate working capital facilities, commercial real estate financings, and term loan structures
- Review formula-based lines of credit and traditional asset-backed lending arrangements
- Analyze borrower credit profiles, financial statements, and collateral valuations
- Partner with relationship managers and credit analysts to structure deals that meet borrower and bank objectives
- Maintain regulatory compliance and risk management standards across all underwriting decisions
- Provide credit leadership and mentorship to underwriting team members
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in commercial and commercial real estate underwriting
- Proven track record managing mid-market credit portfolios
