Venture Capital Senior Analyst (AI or SWE Experience Required)

HOF Capital, a leading multi-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco's Panhandle neighborhood, is hiring a full-time Senior Analyst with deep expertise in artificial intelligence or software engineering to join its investment team.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst at HOF Capital, you'll evaluate and support the firm's most promising technology investments. This position combines rigorous technical due diligence with strategic insight into emerging markets, giving you direct influence over deployment decisions across the portfolio. You'll work alongside experienced investors to identify competitive advantages, assess technical viability, and unlock value creation opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct deep technical and market analysis on potential investments in AI, machine learning, infrastructure, and software platforms
• Build financial models and assess unit economics, growth trajectories, and risk factors for pre-seed through growth-stage companies
• Lead technical diligence on founders, engineering teams, and product roadmaps, translating complex technology into investment theses
• Participate in board meetings and strategic discussions; provide ongoing technical guidance to portfolio companies
• Identify emerging trends in AI, SaaS, and other technology verticals; source potential deals through networks and market research
• Collaborate with investment partners and across functions to refine investment strategy and portfolio management

What We're Looking For
