About the Role

As a CDL-A OTR driver with U.S. Xpress, you'll operate a tractor-trailer in long-haul operations, typically covering around 2,000 miles per week. This full-time position offers the balance experienced drivers seek: strong earning potential, predictable home time, and consistent work that doesn't sacrifice your personal life.

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely across multiple states transporting dry van freight
• Follow a 28-days-out, 5-days-home schedule with advance planning and predictable routing
• Handle no-touch freight, minimizing loading and unloading responsibilities
• Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and follow all federal motor carrier regulations
• Build consistent weekly mileage with planned routes and reliable dispatch

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay scale: 52–56 cents per mile based on driving experience

What We're Looking For

• Active CDL-A license with clean driving record
• 1–5 months of OTR truck driving experience
