About the Role

Solo Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL-A Truck Drivers at U.S. Xpress - OTR are responsible for driving dry van cargo across the United States. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500 and a guaranteed minimum pay of $1,400 per week on average 2,000 miles per week.

What You'll Do

• Pick up and deliver dry van cargo to various destinations across the country
• Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries and mileage
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates and customer information

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a dry van endorsement
• 1 to 5 months of OTR driving experience preferred but not required
• A strong safety record and commitment to following company policies
• Ability to work independently and manage long hours on the road

U.S. Xpress - OTR offers competitive pay, a sign-on bonus of $7,500 for solo drivers, and an average weekly minimum pay of $1,400. Solo drivers typically drive 2,000 miles per week on average. The top 20% of our OTR drivers earn $1,650 weekly. For team drivers, there is a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and an average of 5,500 miles per week with a pay rate of $0.72 - $0.80 CPM (cents per mile) split.

Our teams average annual earnings are $260,000, with top teams earning up to $300,000 annually.
