About the Role
GQR Healthcare is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery / Med-Surg assignment based in Holdrege, Nebraska. This is a 12-week travel contract scheduled to begin on July 13, 2026, covering night shifts. As an RN on this assignment, you will deliver hands-on, compassionate care to laboring patients and medical-surgical populations while collaborating closely with the on-site clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg patients throughout the night shift.
- Monitor maternal and newborn health, supporting safe deliveries and timely interventions.
- Assess, plan, and document patient care in line with facility protocols and best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while tracking patient response.
- Coordinate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Nebraska.
- Clinical experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Availability to work 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts.
- Willingness to commit to the full 12-week travel assignment in Holdrege, Phelps County.
- Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills suited to a travel nursing environment.
