Role Overview
LRS Healthcare - Travel Nursing is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in oncology to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for travel nurses to gain diverse experience and contribute to the healthcare community in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate care based on nursing standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician and document all treatments accurately in the medical record.
- Assist patients and their families with understanding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care plans.

Skills & Qualifications
- A current and valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or a compact state.
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
