About the Role

As a Travel NICU Registered Nurse with HealthCare Support, you will join a Neonatal Intensive Care team in Andover, Butler County, supporting critically ill and premature infants during a temporary travel assignment. This full-time travel position pays $1,776 per week, runs for approximately 13 weeks, and is built around 36 hours per week worked in 12-hour shifts, with an anticipated start date of June 30, 2026 (Job ID 508248).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized bedside nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including premature and acutely ill newborns.
• Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Operate and oversee neonatal equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and monitoring systems.
• Partner with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the wider care team to carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and reassure families, keeping parents informed throughout their infant's stay.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with unit and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Kansas.
• Demonstrated experience in a NICU or Neonatal Intensive Care setting.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week for the duration of the 13-week travel assignment.
• Flexibility and adaptability suited to travel nursing and a fast-paced critical care environment.
• Current relevant certifications consistent with neonatal nursing practice.
