Travel Cath Lab RN

Malone Healthcare – Nursing is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Dunedin, Florida. This is a full-time position offering $2,167 per week for a 13-week contract beginning August 3, 2026.

Position Summary

Join our interventional cardiology team as a travel Cath Lab RN and deliver specialized patient care during complex cardiac procedures. In this role, you'll work 36 hours per week on day shifts (10-hour shifts) in a fast-paced, procedure-driven setting where precision and clinical judgment directly impact patient outcomes. This travel nursing opportunity provides the flexibility to build your expertise in cardiac interventional nursing while working alongside experienced cardiologists and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography procedures, including IV access, patient education, and baseline clinical assessments
• Monitor vital signs and patient status continuously throughout procedures, responding promptly to clinical changes
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, handling specialized equipment and supplies with precision
• Maintain sterile field protocols and manage inventory of cath lab supplies and equipment
• Provide immediate post-procedure care, including recovery monitoring and patient discharge instructions
• Document clinical observations and patient responses according to facility standards

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Strong assessment skills and ability to function independently in a procedural environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
