Role Overview
AFL Recruitment is seeking a Junior-Associate Trade mark Attorney to join our globally acclaimed and award-winning IP firm based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research for trade mark filings and oppositions
- Prepare and file trade mark applications in Australia and internationally
- Manage client relationships, providing excellent customer service
- Assist with legal due diligence and compliance matters related to intellectual property
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
Skills & Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience as a Junior-Associate or similar role is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with trade mark law and practice, including filing procedures and opposition processes
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in legal writing and documentation
