About the Role
We are seeking experienced Civil Rights Attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to an innovative project at the intersection of law and emerging technology. In this role, you will help improve next-generation AI systems by reviewing, evaluating, and refining AI-generated legal content.
Your Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated legal content for accuracy, fairness, and compliance with civil rights laws.
- Develop strategies to ensure that AI systems are designed and deployed in a manner that respects and protects civil rights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate legal considerations into the development process of AI technologies.
- Stay current with developments in civil rights law as they relate to emerging technologies.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Rights Attorney who can work remotely and is passionate about using their legal expertise to shape the future of AI. You should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Rights Attorney.
- Strong knowledge of civil rights laws, including but not limited to Title VI, VII, IX, and other relevant federal and state statutes.
- Experience in reviewing and evaluating AI-generated content for legal compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
