Therapist I – Nebraska Family Works

Nebraska Family Works seeks a Therapist I to join our clinical team in Omaha, Douglas County, and provide direct mental health services to individuals and families in our community. This is a full-time position within an organization dedicated to trauma-informed care and cultural competence.

Core Duties

• Conduct initial clinical assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and case records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated client care
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related mental health field
• State licensure or professional certification in your discipline
• Clinical experience providing mental health services to diverse populations
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed practice and cultural sensitivity
