About the Role

As Territory Sales Manager for our specialty pharmaceutical division, you'll be the primary relationship builder and sales driver within your assigned territory. You'll represent Sumitomo Pharma's marketed products and investigational pipeline to physicians, specialists, hospital systems, and other healthcare stakeholders. This role combines strategic account development with day-to-day execution to maximize market penetration and revenue growth in your region.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with Sumitomo Pharma's strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and institutional decision-makers
  • Present product benefits, clinical data, and value propositions to prescribers and medical teams
  • Identify market opportunities and competitive threats within your territory
  • Achieve sales targets while maintaining accurate territory forecasting and pipeline management
  • Document customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, medical affairs, and management

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapies
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas and territory growth
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in oncology, specialty therapeutics, or related medical fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation, adaptability, and ability to manage territory independently
  • Degree in life sciences, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within territory
