Clinical Data Manager

Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is hiring a full-time Clinical Data Manager in Talcott Village, Hartford County. In this role, you'll ensure the integrity and quality of clinical trial data that supports our pipeline of innovative medicines across oncology, urology, women's health, rare diseases, cell and gene therapies, and CNS disorders.

About the Role

As a Clinical Data Manager, you will manage, validate, and oversee clinical trial databases. Working alongside clinical research teams and regulatory specialists, you'll ensure that all data meets FDA standards and supports the development of both our marketed products and investigational assets.

What You'll Do

• Oversee collection, validation, and quality assurance of clinical trial data
• Develop and maintain data management plans aligned with FDA and ICH regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with clinical operations, biostatistics, and regulatory teams
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues
• Support database design, build, and testing for clinical trials
• Document data management procedures and standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and data integrity standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience in clinical data management or clinical research
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, and data integrity standards
• Proficiency with clinical trial databases and data management systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
