WSP USA is hiring a Technical Director, Environmental Engineering to help lead environmental remediation work across California, based in Alameda Pt. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role for a senior engineer ready to shape multi-media remediation programs for industrial, government, energy, and oil and gas clients.
About the Role
As Technical Director, Environmental Engineering, you will provide senior technical leadership on the consulting, design, and delivery of environmental remediation projects. Working from WSP USA's Alameda Pt location, you will guide multi-disciplinary teams while supporting business growth and client relationships across the firm's California offices, including Oakland, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Petaluma, San Jose, Fresno, Costa Mesa, and San Diego.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, design, and implementation of environmental multi-media remediation programs.
- Advise clients in the industrial, government, energy, and oil and gas sectors on remediation strategy and compliance.
- Lead business development efforts, including pursuing, selling, and managing remediation engagements.
- Oversee project management, technical quality, and engineering deliverables from concept through completion.
- Mentor engineering staff and collaborate with teams across WSP USA's California offices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience consulting, designing, and implementing environmental remediation programs.
- A background in environmental engineering with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Experience managing remediation projects for industrial, government, energy, or oil and gas clients.
- Skills in client development, proposal generation, and program management.
- The ability to work on-site in Alameda Pt and coordinate with multiple regional offices.
