Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is hiring a kindergarten teacher for our Closter location in Bergen County. We're seeking educators—whether entry-level or experienced—who are committed to engaging young learners, fostering academic growth, and building strong classroom communities within our high-performing public charter school network.

About the Role

As a kindergarten teacher at Success Academy, you'll lead learning in a full-time classroom position at our Closter campus. You'll deliver standards-aligned instruction, nurture curiosity, and create an environment where five- and six-year-olds develop foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional learning.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver engaging kindergarten lessons aligned with academic standards
• Build a supportive classroom community that encourages confidence, creativity, and collaboration
• Assess student progress and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's growth and development
• Work collaboratively with grade-level and school teams toward shared educational goals
• Use formative assessments and data to refine your teaching practice

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (required before your start date)
• Passion for teaching kindergarten and supporting young children's learning
