Position Summary
Our client, a global leader in hyperpure silicon wafer manufacturing, seeks an experienced Process Engineer to enhance quality and production excellence. This role involves managing supplier quality agreements, ensuring material specifications are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the semiconductor industry.
<h2-Core Duties- Serve as primary quality interface between company and suppliers, implementing robust quality management practices.
- Manage Supplier Quality Agreements (SQA/QAA), Supplier Quality Control (SQC), and supplier early alert systems, coordinating with global technology teams for formal sign-off.
- Ensure only materials meeting defined specifications are released for production.
- Collaborate with FMOS and Global/Local Procurement & Logistics teams to approve and manage suppliers according to standardized processes.
- Establish, monitor, and report supplier quality KPIs on a regular basis. <li-Conduct periodic supplier quality and on-site contractor performance reviews.
- Drive alignment and continuous improvement of supplier quality processes and incoming quality control practices across the organization.
What You Bring
A degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, audits, and quality management systems. Proficiency in statistical techniques such as FMEA, MSA, and SPC is required. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 standards is mandatory.
