What This Role Involves

As Supervisor II at Nevada National Security Sites, you'll direct a team responsible for essential operations at one of the nation's most important national security facilities. Your leadership will ensure safe, compliant execution of complex technical and operational activities that support U.S. defense and international security. You'll combine technical expertise with supervisory acumen to manage personnel, resources, and processes in a demanding, safety-critical environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and assign work to ensure mission objectives are met safely and efficiently
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional development
• Ensure strict compliance with federal safety, security, and environmental regulations
• Review and approve documentation, reports, and operational procedures
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to integrate operational requirements
• Respond to incidents or operational challenges and implement corrective actions
• Maintain clear communication with upper management and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Supervisory or lead experience in operations, security, or technical field environments
• Strong knowledge of federal regulations, safety protocols, and security requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and develop staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
• Valid Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
