What This Role Involves

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a catering and hospitality service within an educational setting. You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are adhering to safety protocols, maintaining high standards of food quality, and providing exceptional customer service.

Core Duties

• Supervising and managing part-time staff during shifts
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Ensuring the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to students
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Communicating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student needs and preferences
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 12 months experience in a supervisory role within the catering or hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work flexible part-time hours, mainly Monday through Saturday with no late-night shifts
• Experience in managing staff schedules and ensuring smooth operations during school holidays
• A passion for providing nutritious meals to students
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
