Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations at our Jasper, Alabama retail location in Walker County. In this full-time Store Manager position, you'll oversee daily operations, manage our team, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role

This Store Manager position places you at the center of daily operations for our Jasper Dollar General store. You'll lead a retail team in a dynamic environment where your management skills, decision-making, and commitment to customer service directly drive store success and employee development.

What You'll Do

• Direct store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Recruit, train, and supervise store employees to deliver excellent customer service
• Manage inventory control, merchandise displays, and product stock rotation
• Monitor store sales performance and manage operating expenses
• Uphold store safety standards, maintenance, and cleanliness requirements
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Work with regional management on store goals and performance initiatives
• Handle store administrative tasks and maintain required documentation

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior retail management or store leadership experience
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Experience with retail point-of-sale systems and cash management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
