About the Role

Sprague — Westminster, Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Steam Plant/Boiler Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is based in Fitchburg, MA and requires full-time commitment with no remote work options available.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain steam plants and boiler equipment efficiently and safely
• Monitor and adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, and flow rates of water and steam
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inspecting equipment for any signs of wear or damage
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in shift handovers and document all relevant information

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Boiler Operator or Equipment Operator
• Strong understanding of boiler operations, steam generation processes, and safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills for effective shift handovers and team collaboration
• Possession of a valid driver's license (if required)
