We are seeking a dedicated and professional Valet Attendant to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth patient flow and providing excellent customer service. As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for managing parking operations, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, and assisting patients with their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage valet parking operations efficiently during assigned shifts (Monday-Friday, 1PM-9PM)
- Ensure all vehicles are properly parked, cleaned, and maintained in a professional manner
- Assist patients with their needs and ensure they have a positive experience upon arrival at the hospital
- Maintain a clean and organized parking area to enhance patient satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be available for full-time, Monday-Friday shifts
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- $16 per hour plus tips
