About the Role

As a Sr. Claim Manager/Attorney-D&O/EPL with The Jonus Group in Greektown, Illinois, you will lead the handling of complex Executive Liability matters, including Directors & Officers (D&O) and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims. This hybrid, full-time position places you in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting where forward-thinking claim oversight, sharp legal judgment, and outstanding service drive everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve a portfolio of D&O, EPL, and broader Executive Liability claims from notice through closure.
• Apply legal analysis and coverage interpretation to evaluate exposure, reserves, and strategy on each matter.
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to claim direction, coordinating with counsel, insureds, and stakeholders.
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service while protecting the organization's interests throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Collaborate across teams to share insight and elevate overall claim outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive, hands-on experience adjusting or litigating Executive Liability, D&O, and EPL claims.
• A law degree and the legal background expected of an attorney working in claims management.
• Strong command of coverage analysis, claim strategy, and resolution techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Greektown, Illinois.
