Position Summary

Core Duties

• Receive and remove processed material from the slitter exit station throughout the third shift
• Operate exit-side equipment to stack, secure, and stage finished coils or strips for the next step
• Perform ongoing visual quality checks and flag any defects or process issues right away
• Maintain a clean, organized exit work area and follow all site safety procedures without exception
• Coordinate closely with upstream and downstream team members to prevent bottlenecks
• Complete basic equipment checks, minor adjustments, and end-of-shift reporting
• Support continuous improvement by noting opportunities to refine exit-line flow

Qualifications

• Availability and reliability for full-time third-shift schedules in Kansas City, MO
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and move actively during the shift
• Comfort operating industrial equipment and basic mechanical aptitude
• Solid attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Willingness to learn standard operating procedures and work as part of a night-shift team
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing or production experience is helpful
