About the Role

As Facilities Maintenance Lead at SFDK, you'll be the operational backbone of the park's facilities team — setting the standard for safety, productivity, and quality across daily maintenance activities and long-range rehabilitation projects. This hands-on leadership position requires someone who can balance crew supervision with process ownership and documentation rigor.

What You'll Do

• Develop, audit, and continuously improve standard operating procedures to keep the facilities department safe and compliant
• Drive day-to-day enforcement of park-wide and department-specific policies, ensuring consistent execution across all shifts
• Build and maintain accurate records of staff training certifications, preventive maintenance schedules, and safety compliance documentation
• Plan and manage daily operational workflows alongside multi-phase facility rehabilitation and improvement projects
• Lead, schedule, and coordinate all personnel assigned to the facilities shop, allocating resources to meet park priorities
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure; identify deficiencies and assign corrective work orders
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for facilities issues during your shift, coordinating with operations, safety, and leadership teams
• Mentor team members on safe work practices, proper tool use, and trade-specific skills to develop department capability

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related skilled trade — preferably in a high-volume or hospitality environment
• Proven ability to lead a crew, assign tasks effectively, and hold a team accountable to quality and safety standards
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general facilities safety practices
• Experience writing or revising SOPs, maintaining maintenance logs, and managing certification records
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle reactive maintenance demands alongside planned project work
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across departments and documenting work accurately
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
