Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer to join our Human Resources team in Richland, Washington. In this full-time position, you'll drive strategic recruitment initiatives and source exceptional talent to support our scientific mission and laboratory operations.
About the Role
As Senior Talent Sourcer at PNNL, you'll be instrumental in attracting and identifying top candidates across diverse technical and professional disciplines. Working alongside our Human Resources team, you'll contribute to PNNL's continued growth and excellence through innovative talent acquisition strategies.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for open positions across the laboratory
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines in priority areas including scientific, engineering, and support roles
- Utilize job boards, networking, social media, professional associations, and direct recruitment methods to locate talent
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments to determine fit with PNNL requirements
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, competencies, and organizational needs
- Track recruitment metrics and provide reporting on sourcing effectiveness and pipeline development
- Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and university partnerships to expand candidate networks
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and PNNL hiring protocols throughout the sourcing process
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or human resources within a complex, research-focused, or technical organization
- Strong ability to identify and assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in building talent pipelines and meeting recruitment goals
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest and regional labor markets is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
