The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to join our team at Philadelphia Gas Works. This role will focus on open records and litigation matters. The ideal candidate should be ready for a challenging position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Manage open records requests and ensure timely responses.
• Litigate cases involving open records, contract disputes, and other legal matters.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of issues.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility for admission within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on open records and litigation.
