Position Summary

The Senior Solutions Architect (Remote Canada) at Smiledigitalhealth partners with client teams to advance and carry out the Health Data Fabric vision that builds directly on the organization’s FHIR platform. Serving as a client-trusted technical advisor, the role ensures both current clients and future buyers grasp the complete technical depth and business value of the offerings. Duties center on building custom proofs of concept, leading sessions and demos, producing architecture diagrams plus documentation, clarifying site-specific needs, and backing preparation of RFP, RFI and similar formal solicitations that spell out how existing systems and data move onto the platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Help shape and execute the Health Data Fabric vision that anchors on the FHIR platform
  • Guide clients and prospective buyers through every technical and commercial detail of the solutions
  • Create tailored proofs of concept that highlight platform strengths
  • Deliver presentations, live demonstrations and supporting materials
  • Draft architectural diagrams together with clear documentation packages
  • Capture and refine unique customer requirements for each engagement
  • Contribute content to RFP, RFI and related responses that describe adoption paths and data-migration steps onto the platform

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in senior solutions-architecture roles involving complex enterprise systems
  • Solid working knowledge of FHIR standards and healthcare data platforms
  • Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams, technical documentation and client-facing materials
  • Background supporting proposal efforts such as RFPs and RFIs
  • Strong presentation and communication skills suited to mixed technical and business audiences
  • Proven capacity to design and run demonstrations and proof-of-concept work
