Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Architect, train and refine deep learning models tailored to computer vision tasks on earth observation imagery
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines that prepare large geospatial datasets for training and inference
• Evaluate model accuracy, robustness and computational efficiency across varied imaging conditions
• Partner with colleagues to translate domain needs into practical machine learning specifications
• Deploy production-ready computer vision systems and monitor their ongoing performance
• Explore emerging techniques in the field and integrate proven advances into existing workflows
• Document approaches clearly and share knowledge so the wider group can build on successful methods

Who We're Looking For

• Senior experience designing and shipping machine learning systems with a clear focus on computer vision
• Practical familiarity with earth observation or comparable remote-sensing image data
• Strong command of Python together with modern deep learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Proven ability to take models from research prototypes into reliable production environments
• Solid grounding in software engineering principles that support clean, maintainable code
