In this Senior Mid Market Account Executive post at Elastic within the UK you will concentrate solely on creating brand-new revenue. You own every stage of the sales journey inside an assigned territory, from first contact with prospective buyers right through to sealed agreements. You will present Elastic technology as an integrated platform for search, observability and security that harnesses artificial intelligence, requiring fluent discussion of technical themes during value-led negotiations with mid-market stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Accelerate uptake of Elastic AI-powered search, observability and security capabilities inside new mid-market clients while expanding activity with existing ones.
  • Serve as a reliable guide enabling clients to extract practical insights from their complete data holdings through powerful search analytics.
  • Discuss cloud cost models, consumption-based pricing and modern data architectures convincingly when positioning the platform.
  • Address sophisticated information challenges that extend far beyond ordinary transaction closing.
  • Present the strengths of advanced commercial functionality while supporting open-source options.
  • Surface fresh applications that help teams work faster and smarter.
  • Build territory growth plans that draw on community, client and partner ecosystems.
  • Spot future opportunities early and steer multi-threaded buying journeys to successful conclusion.
  • Carry out rigorous discovery and qualification that clarifies pain points, business effect, available funds and decision factors, concentrating effort on the strongest opportunities.
  • Partner closely with solution architects, customer success, marketing and revenue operations colleagues to quicken deals and secure excellent buyer results.

What You Bring

  • Evidence of strong SaaS subscription selling success in mid-market settings, including consistent overachievement of targets.

  • Ability to construct tailored stories that connect platform capabilities in search, observability and security to measurable gains such as revenue growth or risk reduction.
  • Confidence leading high-level contract and pricing talks through to close.
  • Comfort exploring technical topics that include security controls, observability, traditional and vector search plus cloud expenditure optimisation.
  • Skill at creating credibility equally with developers and senior executives.
  • Reliable mutual deal planning, accurate forecasting, joint close-plan creation and disciplined CRM hygiene.
  • Capacity to align internal teams so opportunities move forward more rapidly.
  • Habit of applying new technologies to improve personal performance and shape better deal structures.
  • Genuine appreciation for open-source models and the communities that depend on them.
