Parser invites applications for the Senior Java Engineer (Adobe Experience Manager) full-time opportunity situated in Spain (Hybrid). This position lets you shape enterprise digital platforms through expert Java and AEM development while working closely with delivery teams.
Role Overview
As a Senior Java Engineer (Adobe Experience Manager) with Parser in Spain (Hybrid), you will own the full lifecycle of complex AEM solutions built on solid Java foundations. You will translate business needs into scalable content architectures, lead technical decisions, and ensure seamless integration across digital touchpoints. The full-time role demands both deep platform expertise and the ability to guide implementation quality across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, code and maintain advanced Adobe Experience Manager applications using core Java patterns and OSGi bundles
- Create reusable custom components, templates, workflows and services that drive consistent multi-channel content delivery
- Integrate AEM with external systems, APIs and third-party services while safeguarding performance and security
- Conduct thorough code reviews, promote clean architecture practices and mentor colleagues on AEM and Java standards
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, tune repository performance and optimise publish and author instances
- Collaborate with product owners, designers and frontend specialists to refine requirements and deliver progressive enhancements
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a Senior Java Engineer focused on Adobe Experience Manager implementations
- Mastery of Java, Sling, JCR, HTL/Sightly, Maven and related enterprise CMS tooling
- Solid understanding of OSGi modularisation, content modelling, dispatcher configuration and multi-site management
- Proven track record designing secure, scalable backend solutions and applying modern software engineering practices
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and contribute effectively in agile delivery environments
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent practical background preferred
