About the Role

As a Senior Internal Auditor at Uniti, you will lead and execute internal audit engagements that evaluate the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls. Working on-site in Cammack Village, Arkansas, you'll partner across the business to identify risk, strengthen processes, and provide leadership with clear, actionable findings that support sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and carry out internal audits covering financial reporting, operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess the design and performance of internal controls, documenting gaps and recommending practical improvements.
• Prepare clear audit workpapers, reports, and summaries for management and key stakeholders.
• Track the status of remediation efforts and confirm that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Support risk assessments and contribute to the ongoing development of the internal audit program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in internal audit, external audit, or a closely related controls and risk function.
• Strong working knowledge of audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and risk-based approaches.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements independently while meeting deadlines.
• Relevant professional credentials (such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent) are an asset.
• Availability to work full-time, on-site in Cammack Village, Arkansas.
