Senior Income Tax Accountant – Uline, Inc.

Uline, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Senior Income Tax Accountant to join our Antioch, Contra Costa County office. In this full-time role, you'll leverage your accounting expertise to ensure tax regulatory compliance across our expanding North American operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on tax accounting position where you'll take ownership of complex income tax matters for a well-established, growing organization. You'll work closely with finance and compliance teams to maintain the highest standards of accuracy while navigating evolving tax regulations and reporting requirements.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and supporting schedules for federal and state jurisdictions
• Manage tax accounting records, ensuring precision and alignment with GAAP standards
• Research and interpret tax law changes to guide company strategy and compliance
• Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend cost-saving strategies to leadership
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax counsel, and regulatory agencies
• Maintain detailed documentation of tax positions and support audit defense efforts
• Mentor junior accounting staff on tax methodologies and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional income tax accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate tax law
• Proficiency in tax accounting software and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy in all deliverables
