Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js, React)

Mindera is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer specializing in Next.js and React for our Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam office. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead frontend development initiatives, architect scalable web applications, and mentor a growing engineering team.

What This Role Involves

You'll take ownership of frontend development at Mindera, designing and delivering web applications that serve millions of users. Working from our Ho Chi Minh City location, you'll lead technical decisions, establish coding standards, and build systems that balance performance with maintainability. Your expertise in Next.js and React will shape how we approach modern web development, from server-side rendering to client-side optimization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Architect and implement component-based solutions using React and Next.js frameworks
• Optimize web application performance, including page load speed and Core Web Vitals
• Review pull requests, mentor junior frontend engineers, and share technical knowledge across the team
• Work with product managers and UX designers to transform requirements into polished, functional features
• Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to engineering strategy
• Maintain clean, testable, and well-documented code aligned with team standards

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years building production frontend applications with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Deep expertise in React and Next.js, including server-side rendering and static generation
• Proficiency in TypeScript and contemporary JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with state management solutions, REST APIs, and asynchronous patterns
• Proven ability to mentor developers and influence technical decisions
• Strong debugging skills, performance optimization mindset, and attention to detail
• Collaborative working style with excellent communication skills
